Have you wanted to write down family stories to be shared with family members and future generations? Maybe you’ve had life experiences that others can benefit from. In this class, we will discuss various forms of creative nonfiction including memoir and essay. We’ll talk about topics like inspiration, memories, and writing techniques to build readable stories that appeal to the audience. No writing experience necessary! This class is for anyone who has an interest in writing personal stories. Writing prompts and videos will be sent through email and you’ll have the opportunity to share your work with the group.
