Slime Masters is now Science Masters! Science Masters Session I (Winter): Join our after-school class, a hands-on chemistry and physics enrichment program designed to help students understand how materials behave and change. Each week, children explore states of matter, chemical reactions, elasticity, viscosity, and magnetism through guided experiments and structured investigations.Students will create and test different compounds (such as stress ball, elephant toothpaste, glow-in-the-dark and magnetic slime) while practicing scientific concept of trial and error. These activities support focus, confidence, and sensory regulation. Class is led by a highly educated instructor and emphasizes real science concepts presented in a fun, engaging age appropriate way.Science Masters Session II (Spring): Join our after-school class, where children explore technology and engineering through engaging, hands-on learning. Each week, students investigate how science shapes the world around them—from how video games are created and what pixels are, to how temperature, forces, and motion affect materials and movement. Students will build speed ramp, experiment with heating and cooling using ice and test magnetic forces using Minecraft blocks. These activities support focus, confidence, and sensory regulation. The class is led by a highly educated instructor and is designed to present rigorous science in an engaging, age-appropriate way that encourages curiosity, critical thinking, and hands-on learning. MSS 2nd graders may take their regular bus to MLS for this program.
