Youth Lacrosse

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

Emphasis will be on individual skill development with an introduction to game concepts in this youth lacrosse program. All players are welcome and will be placed on gender and age appropriate teams (grades 3/4 together and grades 5/6 together). Teams will be created with equally balanced skill levels and practice twice a week during the season. Games will be in Freeport and nearby towns on Saturdays, with an occasional Sunday game or tournament. The season begins with indoor practices if weather is uncooperative, and concludes in mid-June. Equipment needed: boys need shoulder pads (compliant with current NOCSAE standards), arm pads, helmet, gloves, mouth piece, and stick. Girls need a mouth guard, eye guard, and stick.

Registration closes April 4!

All 3-8 boys and girls are invited to attend the Freeport Falcon Skills & Drills Clinic hosted by the FHS Boys' Lacrosse Team. Learn proper catching, ground ball technique, use of both left and right hands, 1v1 offense and defense, & face off technique. Please bring: Stick, protective gear, and sneakers or cleats. We will be using tennis balls for many drills, so if you don't have compliant pads yet, you will still be able to participate. A helmet (for boys) or eye guard (for girls) along with a mouth piece will help protect you from other players' sticks.

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
