Football is on the rise in Durham, Freeport and Pownal.  Get your youngster enrolled in this exciting program.

Until we have a final ruling from the MPA on the high school football season, we will be holding the beginning of this program. We expect to begin in mid-September, but all dates and times are TBA. We expect the program to run as a skills and drills clinic rather than focusing on games and scrimmages. Without contact, we will likely opt not to assign pads and helmets. Youth Football (K-2) - This is a no tackle football program, where safety and fun are our main focus. This program will provide an introduction to football for our younger players. Players will practice twice a week at Pownal Elementary School.

Youth Football (Junior Team Grades 3/4, Senior Team Grades 5/6) - Our youth football team is a member of Maine Sportsmanship League (MSL) and supported by the Freeport Gridiron Club. Players will practice up to 3 times per week and may have some home and away games.

Equipment and team uniforms will be provided.  Players will be required to provide their own cleats, protective cups and mouth guards.
