LAUGH & LEARN Day Care Camp

This program is currently unavailable. Click here to view all of our current programs.

JUNE 8-19: Laugh & Learn will offer day care camp for children in preschool through 5th grade (2019-2020 school year). Camp will be open from 7:00 am to 5:30 pm at Mast Landing School in Freeport, and is open to Durham, Freeport, and Pownal families. Children do not need to be previously registered with Laugh & Learn to join this camp. There will be plenty of activities throughout the day, including outdoor organized playtime, hiking, and lots of fun!

If your child is not a student in RSU5 or Laugh & Learn, we will need a copy of your child's immunizations before they can attend day care camp.

All registrants will need to complete an emergency contact form. Any child needing medication during the camp day will need to have a medication authorization form completed (including doctor's signature) and all medications labeled with their name on them. Both forms can be found on rsu5cp.org.

All campers must provide their own water bottle (labeled) and be dressed appropriately for an active day outdoors. No electronics are allowed during camp. We will provide morning and afternoon snack, but campers must bring their own lunch. We strongly encourage every camper to bring his or her own face covering.

Our staff will provide a safe atmosphere, along with smart health practices with hand washing stations and extra sanitizing throughout the facility. Our staff will follow all state child care licensing guidelines, including safe hand washing habits and area disinfection. These guidelines do NOT include 6-feet social distancing, but we will do our best to keep the children reasonably apart from one another.  Each day before being admitted to camp, all children will be screened for symptoms of illness and have their forehead temperature checked. Parents/guardians must accompany their children during this screening, at which point they may be signed in. Children showing symptoms or showing a temperature over 100.4 degrees Fahrenheit will not be admitted to camp. When planning your morning drop-off schedule, please allow time for this important safety check.

Any questions please feel free to contact Childcare Coordinator Leah Campbell at campbelll@rsu5.org

* Adjustments and discounts will be applied during checkout if applicable. *
