Mad Science of Maine sparks imaginative learning for K–5th graders when school is out! Children experience what science is all about by getting hands-on with project-based activities, observing fascinating demonstrations, taking part in inquiry-based discussions, and by extending their learning at home with correlated take-home projects. Engaged, active, enthusiastic, and of course FUN learning is what we are all about!
Ever wonder how bridges stand up over water? Or how gravity works? Kids explore a variety of introductory topics in engineering, physics, and chemistry, as they learn how science can impact our everyday lives.
Transportation to this session at Mast Landing is provided from Morse Street School or Durham Community School.
