Fall MS Volleyball SeasonThis co-ed season is beginner friendly and open to anyone who wishes to play volleyball. The team will practice twice per week on Mondays and Wednesdays at Freeport High School, and play one game per week. Home games will take place during practice times, however the exact day/time for away games is TBD (each host schedules their own games). Come learn this fast paced sport in a fun but competitive environment!There is no transportation provided for this program. Fall Youth PickupJoin us for fun drills, games and scrimmages on the turf! No experience necessary; players will be grouped and/or split into teams each week for pickup style play. Coaches from Maine Ultimate and within RSU5CP will be available to teach as needed. Start time subject to change based on Turf availability.- - - - - HIGH SCHOOL SPRING LEAGUEJoin the Freeport Ultimate program* and compete against other schools in this ultimate frisbee league! High school teams will practice at Hunter Road Field in the 3-6pm time frame (exact schedule TBD). These sessions will consist of co-ed drills and scrimmages, as well as single-gender play so that players may learn how to play under both rule sets. Teams will have the option to split into separate gender divisions (Open or Girl-Matching) for games, and also may play in the Mixed Division for additional games if desired. Fall Youth PickupJoin us for fun drills, games and scrimmages on the turf! No experience necessary; players will be grouped and/or split into teams each week for pickup style play. Please come prepared with a water bottle, a light and dark shirt, clothing appropriate for athletic movement, and a pair of indoor gym shoes - NO OUTDOOR STREET SHOES ALLOWED IN THE GYM.The Grades 3-5 Clinics and the Girls Only Clinics will be led by local Maine Ultimate or Freeport/RSU5 coaches who have been playing and involved with the community for many years. Join us for 6+ weeks of fun practicing the basic skills needed on the ultimate field!The clinics for grades 9-12 will be led by professional ultimate frisbee player (and one of our newest additions to the Maine Ultimate Community), Rowan McDonnell - check out his website, Excel Ultimate!
