Youth & Teen Programs

Youth & Teen Programs
Community Programs provides diverse programs and activities for kids and teens that build self-esteem, decrease boredom, and offer healthy life choices. We've got team and individual sports, outdoor adventures, indoor creative opportunities, dance and the arts, cooking classes, and everything in between. If you’ve got a great idea for a class or perhaps a special skill that you’d like to share with your friends and neighbors – please let us know, since we are always looking for the next great thing to offer.

FOR INFORMATION ABOUT ANY OF OUR YOUTH & TEEN PROGRAMS, EMAIL OR CALL THE RECREATION & ENRICHMENT COORDINATOR AT 207-865-6171 ext 325.

The PORT Teen Center, Teen Treks, and after-school programs in partnership with the Freeport Community Library
During the school year we offer a range of after-school programs for teens & tweens at the PORT Teen Center (located at Freeport Community Services on Depot Street), a weekly Teen Treks outing, and a growing series of fun and engaging activities with our partners at Freeport Community Library. Call us for more information, or to offer your assistance in creating great new programs!

Teen Treks, Summer Adventure Camp
During the summer months, The PORT Teen Center hits the road as Teen Treks. We head outdoors and do it all – from the beach to sailing and canoeing to hiking and camping and all the water/adventure parks. Campers in 6th grade and up are invited to sign up for a week or for the whole summer. Call 207-865-6171 ext 325 for more information or to reserve your spot.
