Cancellation Policy

RSU5 Community Programs reserves the right to cancel or consolidate any program that does not meet the minimum participant registration numbers. If we cancel a class or activity, we will do so at least five business days before the scheduled start date. If we cancel a course, we will refund or credit 100% of the class fee. We will credit an account for all refunds under $10. If requesting a check for a larger refund (cash refunds are not available), it may take three weeks for the refund to process. We begin to process credit card refunds immediately, and these typically show up on your card within a few business days.

• For all regular program registrations we retain a non-refundable processing fee of 5% (with a minimum of $5).  For summer camps, this fee is 20%.

• If you withdraw five business days before a regular program, or two weeks before a summer camp, you will be refunded all fees, less the processing fee.

• If you withdraw at least three business days in advance of any program or camp, you will receive a 50% refund.

• No refund will be given if you withdraw from a program or camp less than there days before it begins, or if you choose not to attend without notifying us.  No refunds will be given if you withdraw after the program has concluded.

• Extenuating circumstances that lead to a late withdrawal (such as illness or injury) may qualify you for a full account credit, less processing fees.

Definition of a Refund: Returning the payment to the original payment method. Cash refunds are not available and check refunds are only available as rare exceptions.
 
Definition of a Credit: Returning the payment as a monetary credit applied to your MyRec account which can then be used to pay for any other program listed on our website or in a current or future catalog.
