Community Programs Cancellation Policy


Cancellation Policy

RSU5 Community Programs reserves the right to cancel or consolidate any program that does not meet the minimum participant registration numbers. If we cancel a class or activity, we will do so at least five business days before the scheduled start date. If we cancel a course, we will return 100% of the class fee. We will credit an account for all refunds under $10. If requesting a check for a larger refund (cash refunds are not available), it may take three weeks for the refund to process. We begin to process credit card refunds immediately, and these typically show up on your card within a few business days.

Definition of a Refund: Returning the payment to the original payment method. Cash refunds are not available.
 
Definition of a Credit: Returning the payment as a monetary credit applied to your MyRec account (which can be used to pay for any program listed on our website).

Refunds for Regular Programs/Classes

• 95% Refund (Minus $5 processing fee) -- if you withdraw from the class five or more business days before the start of the class.

• 95% Credit (Minus $5 processing fee) -- if you withdraw less than five full business days before or up to 24 hours after the end of the first class (for a class that meets more than once).

• 50% Refund (Minus $5 processing fee) -- if you withdraw less than five full business days before or up to the end of the first class (for a class that meets more than once).

• NO Refund will be given if  you withdraw from a program less than three days before a one-time (single class) offering, or if you drop and do not notify us. No refunds will be given if you withdraw after the first class has concluded (single class).

Refunds for Summer Camps

• FULL Refund (Minus the 20% non-refundable deposit) -- if you withdraw from the class two full weeks before the first day of the session.

• 50% Refund (Minus the 20% non-refundable deposit) -- if you withdraw less than two weeks and more than one full business day before the first date of the session (prior to 9am on the Friday before).

• NO Refund will be given if you withdraw from a summer camp less than one full business day before the first date of the session (after 9am on the Friday before, or over the weekend), or if you drop and do not notify us.
