Fall Soccer (Grades 1–8)This fall, we have multiple soccer offerings for kids in grades 1-8. Our Fall Soccer League (FSL) is designed for children to learn, develop, and enhance their overall skills while having fun and gaining experience on the field and as part of a team. This year we will continue to offer our Unified Soccer Division (USD) designed for children with physical challenges, neurodiversities, social differences and unique communication needs. This program is open to players of all abilities, and we encourage players without special needs to register as a “Buddy” (free for players also registered in the FSL). All teams in the FSL and USD will play on Saturday mornings. FSL teams will also have one weekday practice per week and days/times are TBD; these will likely begin the week of August 25. Once teams are finalized a coach will contact you with logistics. USD will practice on Saturday mornings.Grade 1–3 teams will play at least half of their six games in the town in which they practice. Grade 4/5 and 6-8 teams may be separated by gender and may play some games in a neighboring town. USD games are not guaranteed, however if scheduled, they will be in RSU5 towns. In this class, you will learn choreographed routines to a wide variety of music - a little bit of country, disco, swing, Latin rhythms, and more.  There is truly a line dance that works for any song.  Dances will start out very simple and become more complicated throughout the season.  All levels are welcome!

We will also include any clinics in our virtual newsletters sent at the beginning of each month. Current Programs:Fall/Early Winter 2025 Youth Open Gym (Sept-Nov) - These open gyms will be run by a core group of volunteers involved with our basketball programming. Sessions will take place at DCS or FMS, and they are open to any player from RSU5 towns in grades K-8. Activities will vary by session, and dependent on the number of players of each age group and their gender. Expect instructional drills, fun games and occasional scrimmages. All players must register below before attending - NO DROP INS ALLOWED.Past Programs:Spring 2025 Youth Open Gym (May-June) - These open gyms will be run by a core group of volunteers involved with our basketball programming. NO DROP INS ALLOWED. April/May 2025 Middle School Girls Clinics - THESE CLINICS WERE CANCELLED DUE TO LOW REGISTRATION NUMBERS. This 3-session clinic series (April 9th, May 7th, May 21st) is open to any Middle School student (6-8th grade) interested in playing in the girls basketball division. Players will practice the basic skills and strategy of the sport in fun drills, games and competitions. Register below to join! NO DROP INS ALLOWED. March 9th, 2025 - Come join us for this fundraiser clinic, where kids will practice the fundamentals of the sport in a fun and interactive environment. All proceeds will be donated to the National CMV Foundation. We will have many coaches involved, including players from the FHS Boys and Girls Basketball teams and coaches from RSU5's Rec Basketball program. The clinic will consist of drills and activities teaching skills and strategy, as well as fun games to bring an element of competition. All players welcome, regardless of skill level or previous experience. At the end of the clinic, each player is welcome to join a pizza party sponsored by Pat's Pizza. Perhaps you took German in college years ago and would now like to refresh your knowledge, or maybe you are planning a trip to Germany and would like to know the most important phrases to get around.  Together, we will learn about he German language, the rich culture, various traditions, and the German lifestyle in general.  The class is held in a relaxed and fun atmosphere, open to everyone.

Fall Soccer (Grades 1–8)This fall, we have multiple soccer offerings for kids in grades 1-8. Our Fall Soccer League (FSL) is designed for children to learn, develop, and enhance their overall skills while having fun and gaining experience on the field and as part of a team. This year we will continue to offer our Unified Soccer Division (USD) designed for children with physical challenges, neurodiversities, social differences and unique communication needs. This program is open to players of all abilities, and we encourage players without special needs to register as a “Buddy” (free for players also registered in the FSL). All teams in the FSL and USD will play on Saturday mornings. FSL teams will also have one weekday practice per week and days/times are TBD; these will likely begin the week of August 25. Once teams are finalized a coach will contact you with logistics. USD will practice on Saturday mornings.Grade 1–3 teams will play at least half of their six games in the town in which they practice. Grade 4/5 and 6-8 teams may be separated by gender and may play some games in a neighboring town. USD games are not guaranteed, however if scheduled, they will be in RSU5 towns. Registration is now closed for this program - if you would like to sign up after Aug 22, please register for the waiting list and we will add your player to a team ASAP. This instructor-led, video driven course provides participants with the knowledge and skills necessary to help in an emergency situation until an EMT arrives and takes over care of the injured or ill person, whether the situation involves a heart attack, severe bleeding, burn, allergic reaction, diabetic issue or other medical emergency.  Participants will practice or discuss all situations covered in the course and receive take-home reference cards and a nationally recognized certificat.  Must attend both classes to gain certification.
