Many FHS high school programs run summer sports activities in in June and July. On this page you'll find registration for the sports organizing through Community Programs. 8:30 AM - 4:30 PM    Teen Treks - Week 2
Fun and adventure are guaranteed in this on-the-go camp for teens. These trips provide an excellent opportunity for teens to get outdoors and enjoy all the wonderful things Maine has to offer in the summer. Each week includes adventurous trips and activities suited for any teen looking to have a memorable summer!Participants must bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, rain gear, shoes that can get wet AND boots or sneakers for hiking, bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen to camp each day. On days that do not have featured trips, we will be visiting state parks and beaches. A schedule of events will be posted when available.This year we will offer three Teen Treks Extreme Weeks that include overnight camping. Extreme activities may include canoeing and moose watching near Moosehead Lake, adventure parks, ropes course sessions, and whitewater rafting on the Kennebec River. (Our current plan is to do Moose Watch Canoeing on Moosehead Lake for Week 3x, and Whitewater Rafting an Week 5x & 7x.)Campers may be dropped off at FHS as early as 8:30 a.m., and must be picked up no later than 4:30 p.m. Overnight trips (during weeks 3x, 5x, and 7x) will depart at 8:00 a.m. and return as close to 4:30 p.m. as possible the following day. More information will be sent to participants in regard to the overnight trips. Camp Fees Camp fees include all field trips and special events. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of your total camp fees is due when your child’s registration is confirmed, with an additional 20% of the total cost automatically charged by the last day of the months of February, March, April and May. Full payment is due before your child is scheduled to attend. Scholarship applications are always welcome.

Unleash Your Inner Athlete at Falcon Fusion!This summer, discover the joy of Freeport Family Track and Field! Whether you're a seasoned track star or brand new, our welcoming environment is designed to nurture your love for the sport. Experience sprints, middle distance, long distance, race walk, javelin, shot-put, discus, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, and relay races. With so many events to choose from, there is something for everyone.Here's what the program offers:- Casual and Active: Everyone has other summer commitments and schedules. All practices and meets are optional. However, you get the most work and improvement from regular and active participation. We make every session enjoyable and filled with skill development. We help foster a love for the sport that lasts a lifetime.- Skill development: Our experienced coaches and junior coaches from High School work with all athletes, honing personal fitness, individual event skills, and team sportsmanship.- Inclusive atmosphere: All skill levels are welcome. Top performers at meets get ribbons.  Additional Details:- Show your team spirit with a free uniform top!- Practice sessions are held Mondays & Tuesdays from 5:00 - 6:30 PM from mid-June to early August right on the FHS Track and Turf Field.- Register for just $100 for 16 practices.- All ages are welcome to register and practice with us. The main program competition age groups are "8 & Under", "9 & 10", "11 & 12", "13 & 14+" (The oldest competitors will have just finished 8th grade). To participate in optional competition events, a separate USATF membership (approximately $35) is required. Encourage your child to use their imagination, spread their wings and join us for a week of Fairy Fun Dance Camp! Daily activities include; ballet and creative movement dance instruction, with an emphasis on vocabulary and technique. We will round out the day with tumbling, crafts, and dance games.

Whether you're a seasoned track star or brand new, our welcoming environment is designed to nurture your love for the sport. Experience sprints, middle distance, long distance, race walk, javelin, shot-put, discus, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, and relay races. With so many events to choose from, there is something for everyone.Here's what the program offers:- Casual and Active: Everyone has other summer commitments and schedules. All practices and meets are optional. However, you get the most work and improvement from regular and active participation. We make every session enjoyable and filled with skill development. We help foster a love for the sport that lasts a lifetime.- Skill development: Our experienced coaches and junior coaches from High School work with all athletes, honing personal fitness, individual event skills, and team sportsmanship.- Inclusive atmosphere: All skill levels are welcome. These trips provide an excellent opportunity for teens to get outdoors and enjoy all the wonderful things Maine has to offer in the summer. Each week includes adventurous trips and activities suited for any teen looking to have a memorable summer!Participants must bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, rain gear, shoes that can get wet AND boots or sneakers for hiking, bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen to camp each day. On days that do not have featured trips, we will be visiting state parks and beaches. A schedule of events will be posted when available.This year we will offer three Teen Treks Extreme Weeks that include overnight camping. Extreme activities may include canoeing and moose watching near Moosehead Lake, adventure parks, ropes course sessions, and whitewater rafting on the Kennebec River. (Our current plan is to do Moose Watch Canoeing on Moosehead Lake for Week 3x, and Whitewater Rafting an Week 5x & 7x.)Campers may be dropped off at FHS as early as 8:30 a.m., and must be picked up no later than 4:30 p.m. Overnight trips (during weeks 3x, 5x, and 7x) will depart at 8:00 a.m. and return as close to 4:30 p.m. as possible the following day. More information will be sent to participants in regard to the overnight trips. Camp Fees Camp fees include all field trips and special events. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of your total camp fees is due when your child’s registration is confirmed, with an additional 20% of the total cost automatically charged by the last day of the months of February, March, April and May. Whether you're a seasoned track star or brand new, our welcoming environment is designed to nurture your love for the sport. Experience sprints, middle distance, long distance, race walk, javelin, shot-put, discus, high jump, long jump, triple jump, pole vault, and relay races. With so many events to choose from, there is something for everyone.Here's what the program offers:- Casual and Active: Everyone has other summer commitments and schedules. All practices and meets are optional. However, you get the most work and improvement from regular and active participation. We make every session enjoyable and filled with skill development. We help foster a love for the sport that lasts a lifetime.- Skill development: Our experienced coaches and junior coaches from High School work with all athletes, honing personal fitness, individual event skills, and team sportsmanship.- Inclusive atmosphere: All skill levels are welcome. Top performers at meets get ribbons.  Additional Details:- Show your team spirit with a free uniform top!- Practice sessions are held Mondays & Tuesdays from 5:00 - 6:30 PM from mid-June to early August right on the FHS Track and Turf Field.- Register for just $100 for 16 practices.- All ages are welcome to register and practice with us. The main program competition age groups are "8 & Under", "9 & 10", "11 & 12", "13 & 14+" (The oldest competitors will have just finished 8th grade). To participate in optional competition events, a separate USATF membership (approximately $35) is required. Fun and adventure are guaranteed in this on-the-go camp for teens. These trips provide an excellent opportunity for teens to get outdoors and enjoy all the wonderful things Maine has to offer in the summer. Each week includes adventurous trips and activities suited for any teen looking to have a memorable summer!Participants must bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, rain gear, shoes that can get wet AND boots or sneakers for hiking, bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen to camp each day. On days that do not have featured trips, we will be visiting state parks and beaches. A schedule of events will be posted when available.This year we will offer three Teen Treks Extreme Weeks that include overnight camping. Extreme activities may include canoeing and moose watching near Moosehead Lake, adventure parks, ropes course sessions, and whitewater rafting on the Kennebec River. (Our current plan is to do Moose Watch Canoeing on Moosehead Lake for Week 3x, and Whitewater Rafting an Week 5x & 7x.)Campers may be dropped off at FHS as early as 8:30 a.m., and must be picked up no later than 4:30 p.m. Overnight trips (during weeks 3x, 5x, and 7x) will depart at 8:00 a.m. and return as close to 4:30 p.m. as possible the following day. More information will be sent to participants in regard to the overnight trips. Camp Fees Camp fees include all field trips and special events. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of your total camp fees is due when your child’s registration is confirmed, with an additional 20% of the total cost automatically charged by the last day of the months of February, March, April and May. Full payment is due before your child is scheduled to attend. Scholarship applications are always welcome.

A magical experience to become the princess of your dancing dreams! Come dressed in your favorite Princess outfit with twirling tutus. Each day students will learn themed movements to learn all the essentials of becoming a true princess! Daily activities include, tap and ballet instruction, tumbling and creative movement dance instruction, technique and vocabulary. We will finish off the day with a relaxing lunch, craft and outdoor bubbles and chalk art. Family and friends are invited the last day to join the Royal Celebration!

Fun and adventure are guaranteed in this on-the-go camp for teens. These trips provide an excellent opportunity for teens to get outdoors and enjoy all the wonderful things Maine has to offer in the summer. Each week includes adventurous trips and activities suited for any teen looking to have a memorable summer!Participants must bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, rain gear, shoes that can get wet AND boots or sneakers for hiking, bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen to camp each day. On days that do not have featured trips, we will be visiting state parks and beaches. A schedule of events will be posted when available.This year we will offer three Teen Treks Extreme Weeks that include overnight camping. Extreme activities may include canoeing and moose watching near Moosehead Lake, adventure parks, ropes course sessions, and whitewater rafting on the Kennebec River. (Our current plan is to do Moose Watch Canoeing on Moosehead Lake for Week 3x, and Whitewater Rafting an Week 5x & 7x.)Campers may be dropped off at FHS as early as 8:30 a.m., and must be picked up no later than 4:30 p.m. Overnight trips (during weeks 3x, 5x, and 7x) will depart at 8:00 a.m. and return as close to 4:30 p.m. as possible the following day. More information will be sent to participants in regard to the overnight trips. Camp Fees Camp fees include all field trips and special events. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of your total camp fees is due when your child’s registration is confirmed, with an additional 20% of the total cost automatically charged by the last day of the months of February, March, April and May. Full payment is due before your child is scheduled to attend. Scholarship applications are always welcome.

Students will learn various styles of hip hop and choreography. Instruction in the fundamentals and vocabulary of hip-hop will help to round out the week. Techniques include; popping, locking, waving, isolation, breaking and tumbling. We will finish out the day with dance games, crafts and other fun activities. An outdoor demonstration on Friday will complete this high energy week. Beginner Level.Students should bring a snack and water bottle each day.

Our drawing, painting and sculpting projects will reflect animals and places around Maine, or create something to be used in nature, such as a bird house, bird feeder or fairy house! Kids can take projects home to share with their family. The group project will be something we can donate to the community or school for display.

Fun and adventure are guaranteed in this on-the-go camp for teens. These trips provide an excellent opportunity for teens to get outdoors and enjoy all the wonderful things Maine has to offer in the summer. Each week includes adventurous trips and activities suited for any teen looking to have a memorable summer!Participants must bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, rain gear, shoes that can get wet AND boots or sneakers for hiking, bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen to camp each day. On days that do not have featured trips, we will be visiting state parks and beaches. A schedule of events will be posted when available.This year we will offer three Teen Treks Extreme Weeks that include overnight camping. Extreme activities may include canoeing and moose watching near Moosehead Lake, adventure parks, ropes course sessions, and whitewater rafting on the Kennebec River. Fun and adventure are guaranteed in this on-the-go camp for teens. These trips provide an excellent opportunity for teens to get outdoors and enjoy all the wonderful things Maine has to offer in the summer. Each week includes adventurous trips and activities suited for any teen looking to have a memorable summer!Participants must bring a snack, lunch, water bottle, rain gear, shoes that can get wet AND boots or sneakers for hiking, bathing suit, towel, and sunscreen to camp each day. On days that do not have featured trips, we will be visiting state parks and beaches. A schedule of events will be posted when available.This year we will offer three Teen Treks Extreme Weeks that include overnight camping. Extreme activities may include canoeing and moose watching near Moosehead Lake, adventure parks, ropes course sessions, and whitewater rafting on the Kennebec River. (Our current plan is to do Moose Watch Canoeing on Moosehead Lake for Week 3x, and Whitewater Rafting an Week 5x & 7x.)Campers may be dropped off at FHS as early as 8:30 a.m., and must be picked up no later than 4:30 p.m. Overnight trips (during weeks 3x, 5x, and 7x) will depart at 8:00 a.m. and return as close to 4:30 p.m. as possible the following day. More information will be sent to participants in regard to the overnight trips. Camp Fees Camp fees include all field trips and special events. A non-refundable deposit of 20% of your total camp fees is due when your child’s registration is confirmed, with an additional 20% of the total cost automatically charged by the last day of the months of February, March, April and May. Full payment is due before your child is scheduled to attend. Scholarship applications are always welcome.
